Hi people.

I'll be doing surround monitoring and mixing this month and I need advice on which option for subwoofer is the best for use along with 5 KRK V4s
I have a control room which is not very big.
Options:

1 - Hafler TRM 12.1
2 - KRK V12 S Series 2
3 - Tannoy TS12

Thanks in advance.

Go with the KRK - that way, everything is same manufacturer and presumably should work well with your 5 mains.

That's what I would do, anyway.

Thanks for your answer Neil.
But researching it further, I found the Tannoy TS10 subwoofer the most suited for my environment and also the best cost benefit. It reaches down to 29 Hz and its light weight and fairly inexpensive price had my choice.

Tannoy are very good - we have a full set of 6 in the playback room, plus a Sub from a different company.
Want to lose the sub & get another Tannoy, as the tannoys don't seem to play nice with the older, cheaper sub.
(Main system is Yamaha MSP10 & SW10)
