Hi,

I´ve made my first 5.1 surround mix. When I got to encode it, it didn´t work. I think I´ve made everything correct. At the end I got just center and LFE channel. I tried to encode it with Nuendo 2.0 Dolby Digital plugin. When I did it just with wave split it works well. Where´s my mistake?
Thanks.

I think you have the wrong version of the DDE.
This happens when using version 1.0 or 1.01 with Nuendo 2 or Nuendo 3.
You need version 1.10

Contact support for the update, as you will need a new license for this. The old iLOK will not run this version.

I am assuming of course that you know how to set the encoder up correctly, as the metadata options must be right or it will go seriously fruit shaped.
Did you have it set to 3/2 Audio mode?
If so, then it is definitely the early version designed for Nuendo 1.x

Ok Neil,

You are right. I was using the old version.
Thank you.

No trouble at all.
The update to 1.10 is free to registered users.
You have to get a new license code though, as the newer version runs off the Syncrosoft key, and the old one has a special iLOK.
