I can usually hear "dinner's ready" but my brain shuts down when chores are requested. Maybe I should get her a nice mic to yell at me with.....and maybe a harmonizer....I wonder if my bass player wears his earplugs at home.....

When I'm first checking out a guitar's tone, I usually have my ear up against the body, at some point. Otherwise, it's in my lap. Just a suggestion. . . .
