OT:Please remember a friend of mine tonight

There was a guy here in KC named Bojohns. I guess he'd been around the KC blues scene for a long time, just another player and singer who gave his life to music without a lot of recognition. Today at 3:45PM, Bojohns passed away from a combination of the bad flu that's going around, and previous lung damage from emphysema. He was one of the nicest people I ever met, and I'm very sad tonight. Whether you think kind thoughts, send positive energy or offer prayers to God, Please remember Bojohns tonight.

My deepest condolences Picker. Loosing a friend is heartbreaking.

Sorry to hear Picker-as you may know I went through something like this not too long ago. It`s not a good thing.
Leaving good music behind is more than many get a chance for, that is a life well lived.

This is Bojohns. I wish I had something from his younger days. You guys wouldn't know it because you're not from around here, but the guys backing him up are among the cream of the KC blues scene. It's a measure of the love & respect he held in the hearts of his peers that they would consent to back him up.

If a man passes easily and rapidly, I am always happy for him. and it seems that your friend did just that. So I be thankful he did not suffer for months and months. RIP Bojohns.
