Oven mitts are important

only remove the oven mitt that is holding the fork, the hand that is about to grab the handle of the roast pan cannot withstand heat. this is going to hurt

Been near there, done something like that. Take your pain meds and use your ointments.

well the pain is gone, though i am aware of my fingers. it was more on the side of the tips. my thumb didn't even notice.
i guessing it isn't too bad seeing my fingers are fairly calloused. we will see tomorrow.

Take two aspirin and a shot of whiskey then Ice it down with a metal slide for the next week or two of guitar playing! Hope you get better and back on the fretboard ASAP...the ove-glove goes on the fretting hand next time.

Or better yet, on the hands of the person you have assigned to get stuff out of the oven.

as it is now, my index and ring finger are ok but the middle finger is tender, tomorrow i plan on trying to play and see i can work around it.

I'd give it an extra day.

I hope the initial reaction was accompanied by the proper ammount of expletives. That always seems to help me.

Mythbusters did a study of that. It (#@$%!!!1!) does seem to help people tolerate pain.

i didn't own a Fiat but we had an Dodge Omni once.
