This in response to claims and counter-claims on another thread (Fletcher's) that the sky is falling...

It is inaccurate to state that the sky is falling. The sky is experiencing a forecasted correction, and has descended in line with those forecasts.

To expect the sky to hover overhead indefinitely reflects an irrational exhuberance in expectations of the sky's market activity and rate of growth.

Federal Reserve rate cuts have slowed the descent of the sky somewhat, but further cuts may be necessary in the near future to head off an outright drop of sky.

A temporary recession will exert downward pressure on the sky temporarily, but barometric indicators do not indicate a permanant downward trajectory of sky.

My sources assure me that this information is current, and accurate. I will keep you updated.

and in other news...

scientists discover that trees falling with no one around actually do make a sound. this discovery was made just as scientists on the other side of the world declared the chicken came on the egg, not before it as was never thought.

and while waiting for the name server to be set, FATCO production notes can be read @ http://www.alphadesign.org/fatcompilation/default.html and yes, its just a rough layout but at least you all can start reading them, ill get the real pages up after i finish these mixes.

An update...

Stock market prices have recovered to pre-September 11th levels, indicating a stabilization of the sky, and confirming earlier predictions that that sky's correctional descent was temporary.

Bear in mind that fluctuations in the sky's level will continue, but all indicators indicate a strong but gradual upward-pressure on the sky.

As far as I know, this information is current, and accurate.

Hey Eric:

That 'Woman' you always mention when you post of your adventures in NYC; she didn't work for NBC, I hope...

No, Bob, but good lookin' out.

She's not just a "Woman," but a Goddess, actually, and she is safely and securely building the foundations of Modern Brooklyn, as we speak. She is poetry in motion, and we are mutually lost in a spiral of random romanticism. Tomorrow never knows.

Thanks, Adrien, and Chris. It's nice to see that not everyone here is a jaded cynic.

Exactly! I am living proof of that statement...well, it's not quite a palace of wisdom yet, - more like a corner bar of wisdom, but I'm working on it.

Eric -
I'm convinced there's more wisdom in your average corner bar than there is in most palaces...

"more like a corner bar of wisdom, but I'm working on it."
A corner bar is good...Jean Paul Sartre, Man Ray and Willie "The Lion" Smith
started out in exactly the same way....one word of advice......avoid the "dirty water dog", and keep the snacks down to relatively pretty vertibrates
(beware the whelk !)....
Furthermore, avoid selling any cocktails with esoteric names, such as.......
My name is Osama bin Laden and I shit on your western democracy, or Long Island Ice Teas....
I KNOW you'll make a go of it ,Eric, and Billy Blake will definately drop in for a double espresso, accompanied by his tyger and waring his "feet in ancient times"....
Salut
