xtratorque
Hey Guys, I'm starting to learn how to play piano/keyboard. Do you have any idea where I can get some beginner Elton John or Beatles books? I have a piano teacher who can help me with learning everything. I had my first lesson today and it involved blues progression. I keep forgetting which notes aren't involved. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it. -Eric
Stephen Fortner
Elton John and the Beatles are so popular that any local music store should have a few compilation books of sheet music in the bins. I just Googled for "sheet music" and got a bazillion web sites where you can order it directly, too. If you're talking about the blues scale, in C, a common version is C - Eb - F - Gb - G - Bb - C Welcome to the forums, by the way ! Garrafon
Good luck with the lessons. I would like to recommend that you get a teacher that teaches you proper form, technique, and sight reading (a good classical teacher). If you learn that stuff and learn your scales, you will be able to pick up the Elton John and Beatles stuff on your own.
