?'s Fender Rhodes and Alesis Ion...

I am not really familiar with keyboards (I am a guitar player) and want to add colors to my music with a keyboard. I am 90% sure I want a Alesis ion. Any suggestions around that price range??

My Another question is this:

I have a Fender Vibro Champ (I got it from my guitar teacher and looks pretty old but sounds great with my Les Paul) with two inputs for instruments. Can I use this amp for the Ion and a Fender Bass Piano?

As long as your volume is low, your amp should be safe. But if you want to really crank it, you (and your Fender) will be better off if you use something like a bass amp, keyboard amp or p.a. I fried the speakers of my Peavey Classic with my Realistic MG-1. A guitar amp isn't built to handle the broad frequency demands a synthesizer will throw at it.

But I bet many forum members either have used guitar amps or still do. A used bass amp would be another option. Good luck!
