Jeebus
This guy has 14 Motif 7's for sale up on ebay. No previous sales on ebay, and no reserve price on any of em. Sounds slightly scammish, no? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3700369800&category=38071 See all entire list of gear for sale here! http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=jkiop25&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=
daBowsa
The question is, how much are you willing to risk for that gear on the chance that it might be a scam?
burningbusch
No less than four ARP 2600s in the same condition with the same options. No pictures of course. Yeah, I'll buy that. Look, here another scammer? Will it never end? Busch.
MurMan
I've seen scams like this before. The "seller" tells you in the ad something like you must be "pre-approved" prior to bidding. You contact the "seller" and then a series of emails occur where the "seller" tries to lure you in to an off-eBay deal. It's amazing how easy it is to get taken. Heck, I'm pretty jaded and just got scammed into reading all of Busch's deals. marino
I checked his auctions for "ARP 2600 with Moog Filter and Kenton MIDI" (Four of them??!?) and I'm almost positive the description is taken, almost word for word, from a legit auction I've seen a few weeks ago, with a base price of about $3500 or so. Plus, who would sell such a machine without uploading a single picture...? The "seller" tells you in the ad something like you must be "pre-approved" prior to bidding. You contact the "seller" and then a series of emails occur where the "seller" tries to lure you in to an off-eBay deal. I've been into this a couple of times. This scam technique should be well documented by now. Just don't do it, no matter how good the price is.
