was putting some new strings on my fender jazz and broke my nut when i was putting on my g string (that last phrase sounded dirty). im putting on rotosound flatwound for a mellow sound (already have a bass for slaping)
so i need a new nut but what kind ,brass ,bone graphite?

I'm waiting to get back my EB Music Man StingRay5 fretless w/ a new graphite nut on it. It should be ready for me tomorrow.

I hadn't had a graphite nut on that bass before so I figured I'd just experiment. Honestly I'm not expecting a huge change in tone.
