Hi Guys.I have found a sansamp in reasonablr price and i am searching for a power amp.which do you suggest?you can be very helpful!

i love my crown K2. it's pricey and it's heavy, but it sounds phenomenal and it has no fan. i don't know if it's worth street price, but i got mine very cheap.

a lot of people use QSC PLX1602, but i'm not so keen on them. they're much better manufactured, and they're a hell of a lot cheaper than a crown, so it's hard to go wrong with them in that light. also, the PLX series uses a switching power supply, so it's considerably lighter than most amps (about 25 lbs. compared to my K2's 50 lbs.).

i've also known of many people using the mackie 1400i and the peavey DPC1400. the peavey is about 20 lbs. and one rack space. i think it's relatively cheap, too. if i had to spend street prices on amps, i would probably buy that one.

I have a SansAmp Bass Driver that I use mostly for recording. Nice sound.

If I were to hook up a power amp to it, I would consider the Stewart Audio World series of amps, especially the World 1.2 or World 1.6. I have no idea what they cost. Talk to the guys at Bass NorthWest
