Robert Berry added to presentations at Bass Players’ Night!

Local 153 member, bassist, guitarist, vocalist, studio engineer, producer and owner of Soundtek Studio will join Thom Duell at Bass Players’ Night at Stevens’ Violin Shop in San Jose on Monday, March 26 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Robert and Thom will be discussing “The Expectations of a Studio Engineer of the Bass Player and the Expectations of a Bass Player of the Studio Engineer when Recording”

In 1988 Robert Berry in a partnership with Keith Emerson & Carl Palmer, 'To the Power of Three' produced a hit single "Talkin' 'bout", that reached number 17 on the charts.

In 1992 Robert Berry released the album “Pilgrimage to a Point” of previously unreleased songs written with Steve Howe, Keith Emerson & Carl Palmer.

In 1996 Robert released a solo project of rock tunes “takin’ it back” written while performing with Sammy Hagar's band 'Tres Curzanos'. A hard rock edge, while still retaining some progressive roots.

Also 1996, Robert's latest band with BOSTON guitarist Gary Pihl, NIGHT RANGER keyboardist Alan "Fitz" Fitzgerald, and SAMMY HAGAR drummer David Lauser. "Bond of Union" was only released in Japan. "ALLIANCE" was released in Europe. 1999 has seen the release of "Missing Piece".
