George, what about the Aphex 1100 Mic Pre?

Has anyone used one of these in a session, I recently saw one at a trade show and was very impressed. It was VERY quite (rated at -135dB EIN) and seemed very "neutral" and accurate. Just what I prefer in a preamp, one that makes mics louder and nothing else. It also has Apex's MicLim technology as well as a built in 24/96 A/D converter. In the most recent Mix magazine George Peterson wrote a very favorable review about the 1100. This preamp has a very unique circutry, from what I understand about it (for more specifics you can go to http://www.aphex.com or read the newest Mix mag, there you can find more detailed technical info than I'm qualified to explain.

I'm just interested in your opinions on this, it seems to be a very interesting piece of gear. Please help either explain to me or "debunk" what this design is all about.

Thanks.
