David Emm
Frank McComb tells some satisfying historical tales as a real player. I love the Rhodes & Wurlys. There was the former in a roommate-house for a while and I owned a Wurly for a few years. I understand the Luv. I never use the sounds in a jazz manner, but that meaty bell tone is an addictive thing of beauty. BRW
This was actually a neat project, it was originally a coffee table book + a DVD - I bought it back then. The DVD had most of the famed keyboard players who played Rhodes during their careers tell their stories. I'm not sure, but most of them might actually be on YouTube by now...and I think even the full doc might be.

I like SOME tales of old synths, but a few have excessive grey hairs. When people reminisce over acoustic instruments, the, er, tone is different. Tales of synths are either glorious or cringe-inducing. Strings break, but synths emit smoke.
