What bands compare groove wise with TOP, EWF, James B, etc?

Recommended Posts

Some Funky R&B for ya Duke Williams and the Extremes. I group I was working for we played a week at the Cellar Door with Duke et. al. From what I remember most the guys in the band did session work for for MFSB the Sound of Philadelphia. I can say one thing for sure they were some hard partying crazies in that band we had a great time that week hanging out and listening to them.
