Sure, that must have been it. I"ll wait for the 88 key weighted.I approve this idea, since I think my primary reaction to this keytar is "why stop there?" Stokely
Ugh, there would have to be armed terrorists holding my family hostage for me to get out there on a keytar. Or maybe an extra hundred in per-gig money might do it.....might. And this is for the safety and comfort of others as much as my own. We have a couple photogenic band members but I ain't one. Baldwin Funster
You know if the guy in the video started with a black ax-synth and had hot rod flames painted on it, it would have probably made his keytar look cooler. Putting a clownishly oversized guitar body on it didnt help the look and had to add weight and bulkiness. Yet the guy seemed pretty proud of his contraption. Quote FunMachine. Dr Mike Metlay
He absolutely should be proud of his contraption. It"s obvious from the look on his face that it"s intended to be completely goony, and it"s made even funnier by the fact that he"s actually got some pretty good chops. EscapeRocks
I have the Roland Axe Edge in black, but I never thought of flames! Another new project. I'd love to see that. None of my keytars ear their original paint, from my 'Hammered Copper' Vortex 1, to my 'Anodized Red' Vortex Wireless 2. El Lobo
As long as we're posting pix with our keytars, here's me with my Roland Lucina, a failed product that was quickly discontinued (so I got mine cheap), but I always thought it was fun to play, partly because of its smaller size and also because it has some of the best Roland sounds (stereo). It's a great organ patch and the piano and wurly aren't too shabby either. Haven't had it out in a while. But then, I haven't been out for a while either. Stokely
Well, I don't like soloing period so it's not like some part of me wants to keytar and another part is scared. All the parts are in agreement, staying in the back is great! The only time being in the back sucks is that I do like to sing lead, and that makes for an odd stage presentation (as does a drummer singing IMO). But no way do I yearn to be at a mic stand without an instrument either, so that might be a way that I'd bust out a keytar. But hey more power to the keytarists, it takes all kinds!
