RABid Posted March 5, 2021 Share Posted March 5, 2021 What is your favorite YouTube channels for free drum lessons? In high school I was an excellent drummer. Excellent! Was accepted as a percussion major at a large university but never followed through. Got the opportunity to play keyboards in a money making band with a Nashville bound guitarist and went for the money and steady work. Never made it back to drums and only played occasionally. During that time I was totally self taught as a drummer, learning my licks by mimicking records. Piano lessons enabled me to read music and while in high school I was practicing 4 hours a day, Now I would like to back up, learn fundamentals and rudiments. A few YouTube channels I have found were really just shells to entice you to go to the person's paid collection of lessons. The one good channel I have found is Rob "Beatdown" Brown. He has an excellent channel and watching him is like being in a lesson. Is there anyone else that you suggest? Quote This post edited for speling.
