Thanks for the link, Marzzz. I can't wait to get back to doing more with my Hydra! (It's turned off and unplugged now; I am not letting myself turn it on until my Korg wavestate video series is finished. Ditto my MatrixBrute and MicroFreak.)

I just got mine this week. Haven't played one since we were all hanging out at NAMM 2020. Although I find it exhilarating, it is at the same time exhausting mentally, as it's features are overwhelming to me. Hopefully this will diminish over time. :)

It will. The interface is very inviting. Once you get used to how it guides you, you pretty much fly around.

New ones just released, for those of you who were complaining that the 4-octave model (which I have and love) and the desktop model (which I am thinking about getting, as a portable MPE companion for my Linnstrument) were neither fish nor fowl:

The pricing is astounding, especially if they're even close to as well built as the first two. And check out the cool little shelf on the Deluxe!

Man I was really hoping the Explorer would be available in the USA by Christmas. :(

Just watched the Explorer Sweetwater demo by Daniel Fisher. I'm not a big mini-keys fan (I have an Arturia Keystep) but it just doesn't make sense for me personally to buy a polyphonic desktop module that doesn't have an actual keyboard on it instead of grid pads. Seems like the Explorer hits the mark for playability and portability.

The Players:  OB-X8, Numa Compact 2X, Kawai K5000S, cheap Korean guitars/basses, Roland TD-1KV e-drums.  Eurorack/Banana modular, Synth/FX DIY.
