I was out alone with no other surfers out there. And all of a sudden a big sea lion popped out of the surface of the ocean one foot from the nose of my short board and stayed there staring at me eye to eye. I damn near had a heart attack until I realized what it was. And still I did not feel comfy until it submerged and swam away. It was freakin huge............... Cool vid with beautiful California waves and a cool backing surf track...I never liked surfing near sea lions, sharks and jelly fish LOL!
