Dave Bryce
Waiting for my Osmose. Trying not to buy too much guitar stuff. dB I'm in the same boat. No, I don't need that Fender Am. Pro II Jazzmaster in Miami Blue... no, don't need it at all... I fell for the Am. Pro II Strat. The Dark Night finish is way my kind of good time. dB Quote ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <==
GovernorSilver
On the other hand I do know of active, more fit type people that were having back problems and the 45 degree hyper-extension greatly helped them to the point where their back is no longer bothering them. I thought about getting one myself. Ever since I got my Isochain isometric training device and started training on that though, my back and shoulder have started feeling better. Isochain takes less space too. Isometrics was once a mainstream training modality, promoted by strongman Alexander Zass, then Bob Hoffman, owner of York Barbell. Hoffman marketed power racks as isometric training tools, leveraging the successes of Olympic lifters/bodybuilders such as Bill March and Vern Weaver. But when the news broke that York Barbell athletes were using steroids, isometrics fell out of favor, because people assumed steroids did all the work for the lifters. Bruce Lee was later known for chain-and-bar isometrics but that wasn't enough. Anyway, shoulder is feeling better and better, as is the back.... AnotherScott
I'd like to find 2 things; 1. some kind of pitch bend / mod wheel device for the Electro Pitch bend is conceivable. Mod wheel is not because almost certainly, what you want it to do is control an LFO for some vibrato variant, and there is no such LFO in the Electro to control. Maybe you could have a wheel that convert to send some MIDI CC to manipulate some front panel control (like an effect knob), but heck, you might as well just move the front panel control. ;-) 2. A wah/expression that I can program to work in reverse (yes, I tried just turning the pedal around, but the angle is a bit too extreme) Turn it around and put it on a wedge. My own gear goal for 2021 is to sell more gear than I buy. Also, maybe to actually integrate a tablet (or two?) as a sound source "for real" and not just tinker with the idea. Quote Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)
Mighty Motif Max
I'm going to try to avoid any new purchases this year. Maybe a few cables. Otherwise I need to get my PC3 fixed (when someone can actually be open to repair it) and have my primary accordion rewaxed. ProfD
I'm going to try to avoid any new purchases this year. Maybe a few cables. Try not to overthink the brand thing. It's just a shielded piece of wire with connectors on each end. Quote PD "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return."--E. vonnor
Looking to maybe get a new bottom board for the rig. I was liking the Forte SE, but now I see the Yamaha YC-73 and am intrigued. Want something with a great feel and great bread&butter sounds, with great midi controls (PB/MOD, Drawbars, Exp Pedals / switches). ~ vonnor Quote Gear: Hardware: Nord Stage3, Korg Kronos 2, Novation Summit Software: Cantabile 3, Halion Sonic 3 and assorted VST plug-ins.
