Sundown
Hey guys, My two year-old twins love it when I bring by Reface CP into the playroom so I bought them a couple of Casio SA-77s to pound on. It"s early, but if they develop an interest that"s great. There"s only one problem... They love to move the volume slider up and it gets overwhelming. I want to put a physical governor on the slider and I"m looking for any suggestions on how to do that. I have attached a close-up photo of it, and the bottom fifth of the slider is enough volume for their needs (and their father"s sanity). Thanks in advance. mate stubb
Popsicle stick shaped and glued into the slot. Quote Moe ---
Jonathan Hughes
You could put some Sugru in there: https://sugru.com/buy
Baldwin Funster
Set the slider where you want and duck tape it down. If you let your kids pound on it you shouldn't worry about tape residue. Quote FunMachine.
Old No7
Good ideas above... I'd bet a machine screw (threaded) of the right size would engage the plastic slot just enough to "grab" and stop the slider. Just get one with a smooth head that needs an allen wrench to turn it. Good luck. Oh, I'm a twin too by the way........... You could solve half the issue by getting one of them a drum set. stillearning
I like the popsicle stick idea best. Simple and easy. And if you want to dress it up (and disguise any evidence) color it with a Sharpie. Quote I would like to apologize to anyone I have not yet offended. Please be patient and I will get to you shortly. stoken6
You could solve half the issue by getting one of them a drum set. Solves half of one issue, brings three or four new ones! Cheers, Mike.
