I got to pull out the World's Ugliest Christmas Jacket yesterday - I'll have to find a way to share photos, words fail - and today, I'm home with my wife and dogs, which is all I can really ask for. Meant in love and sincerity to anyone and everyone - Happy Holidays, Season's Greetings, Merry Christmas, Xmas (which comes from Greek for Christ - Mass, NOT some atheistic slant), Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, Eid Mubarak, Gud Yule, Candlemas, 's ALL good, just take it in stride, in good spirits. "Happy Festivus" conveys good will, a sense of humor, too! People- don't be so uptight about nitpicking, get on with what these holidays are SUPPOSED to be about, instead of all the petty in-fighting. If somebody wishes you well, be glad of it & reciprocate! If someone says ANYTHING expressing good will and best wishes to me- ANYTHING, relating to any religious holiday, secular seasonal observance, WHATEVER, I am glad for the friendly gesture and kind heartedness! It is RIDICULOUS to ban or legislate against ANY of these things- such rules and laws should be IGNORED, FOUGHT AGAINST, GOTTEN RID OF, AND FORGOTTEN- as should those who implement them in the first place.
