And after several days of very fast service, it had a moment of impossible slowness. It seems to be back to speed now. Things, for me, had been purring along but in the last week speed and movement screen to screen issues are starting to rear its ugly head again. Interestingly, I also got logged out while in the middle of a post. Was logged in, started to write a posting response and when when I actually posted the response i received a message that I wasn't logged in. Reezekeys Posted February 8, 2021 Share Posted February 8, 2021 I didn't want to mention it because I figured that either 1) others were seeing it and it was gonna be dealt with so why add to the noise, or 2) maybe it was something on my end since I didn't see anyone else talking about it (until now!). I've been seeing occasional hiccups for weeks, where pages would take 20 - 30 seconds to load or sometimes not at all. Not 20-30 seconds as in all the elements slowly getting on the page - more like the page starts to load, pauses while still blank or mostly blank, then 20-30 seconds later it all comes flying in. Good to see I'm not the only one, and that it usually is server-related. It happened to me on this forum just now, but it's been a while since that happened here (for me). Looking at the logs we had an attempted DDOS attack originating from the US on an IP owned by Amazon Web services. The firewall detected and eventually blocked it but I have put the IP on permanent ban now.
