PianoMan51 Posted November 3, 2020 Author Share Posted November 3, 2020 'There"s work to be done in this world' was a song by a North Carolina colleague Jim Wann that I performed onstage 30 years ago at the Carrboro Arts Center. I pulled it out of my memory soup, but now realize that the song never openly stated the full meaning: 'There"s sacred work to be done in this world '. The five year span of this video, to me, is showing, not describing, a sacred ritual that special musicians have always done to bring along the next generation. I had similar experiences with my daughter through the years. She's 31 now. Those experiences / memories from her childhood have become more precious as the years pass.
