jazzpiano88
In my preteen years in the early 70s it was all K-Tel and AM Radio. Stuff like Mouth and MacNeal and Troglodite Cave Man. Then in high school it was all 70"s album rock until my Aunt sent me Weather Report Night Passage and Herbie Hancock Mwandishi. 1 Quote J a z z P i a n o 8 8 -- Yamaha C7D Montage M8x | CP300 | CP4 | SK1-73 | OB6 | Seven K8.2 | 3300 | CPSv.
Theo Verelst
I don't doubt it, though it's a bit of a definition matter, I did sound for a high school band, listened to relatively young artists live and otherwise as teenager, why are you interested ? harmonizer
I was born in 1961. My older sister introduced me to lots of good music by young artists: she brought into our house Chicago I & II, CSNY Deja Vu, Yes, Led Zep IV, Elton John's first album, James Taylor Mud Slide Slim, Moody Blues Days of Future Passed, and many others. I don't know when I would have heard some of these without her influence. My mom was a huge Beatles fan. When the breakup of the Beatles was announced during 1970 at about the same time the "Let It Be" album was released, my mom took my sister and me to the store to buy it. I could sense my mom viewed this as a solemn event.
