I got to see Toto live in August 2017 at the Greek Theatre here in Los Angeles. They had Paich, Steve Porcaro, Lukather and Joseph Williams in the lineup. I had gone through this whole Toto listening phase earlier that year so I did not pass up the chance to see them.

Speaking of "Human Nature," the band has also performed it in their shows, mainly after Michael Jackson's death as a tribute to him:

Another "Toto" song by another artist is Randy Newman's "I Love L.A." which has become a victory anthem for L.A. sports teams. Paich played the CS-80, Jeff Porcaro played drums and Lukather played guitar and the solo. Incidentally, the bass was played by Nathan East, who would eventually join Toto as a touring member from 2010-2014. Actually, Randy even included Lukather, Jeff Porcaro and Paich (complete with CS-80) in the song's music video (2:07-2:25):

Hey Scott, thanks for posting that, but it gets an error and won't load. Maybe if you just mention the source, I can use some search terms and find a valid link and/or video stream. I'd love to hear Toto doing it live, which I am guessing is what you were linking. I couldn't tell who was singing on the demo; I assumed Luke would do it and his voice is pretty good. Steve Porcaro, not really a singer. :-)

An, never mind, someone else posted a live video on the second page, which I hadn't seen yet. I'll give that a listen/watch now.

Alright, now I've watched it, and it sounds great. Joseph Williams isn't super-passionate, but his voice is really perfect on that song, sounding natural and telling the story without distracting elements. Much better than MJ's version, which never felt like a natural fit for him. Great playing all around as well, and I love how Nathan East did the high vocal parts!
