CEB
I"ve had this guitar a while now. It"s my steel string acoustic. I thought maybe it was just because it was new. But it still smells good. It makes me just want to put you face over the sound hole and sniff. I wonder how long this will last. KuruPrionz
I don't currently own any mahogany instruments with exposed wood (I do have a massively boogered 59-61 single cut Melody Maker that is 2 pieces of mahogany and one piece Brazilian rosewood but the finish covers the aroma). I owned an old Harmony flat top for many years, the body was entirely made of Honduras mahogany including the top. Top and back were single pieces, mahogany was inexpensive in the 60's and a lot of old growth gigantic trees became inexpensive guitars. It still had a hint of that mahogany aroma so you should be enjoying that pleasant aspect for decades. Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is.
