Mark Zeger
Here"s a related NPR story about Dan Tepfer and JackTrip. It"s very promising if both musicians are within around 500 miles from each other. NY to LA, not so much. https://www.npr.org/2020/07/14/891091995/playing-music-together-online-is-not-as-simple-as-it-seems?utm_campaign=nprmusic&utm_term=music&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social Tepfer has been using technology in creative ways. It"s worth looking up his work.
Joe Muscara
If I could subscribe to Jazz Night in America, I would. Instead, I have a page monitor on that page and get an email every time there's a change. I'm a big fan of that show, it's turned me on to lots of great music, and often the timing is surprising, like right before or after I see that artist live. It's nice to see live jazz isn't completely dormant. Quote "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible!
