"Jefftown Creek" Hammond Intro, by Head East

Following up on this comment from the "Never Been Any Reason" recent posting...

It"s okay. It"s a shame this song is the extent of people"s knowledge of the catalog.

There's an awesome 50-second Hammond organ solo starting off this great Head East tune:

Or for those who want "more" -- here's a 3-minute plus Hammond intro...

One day in the 90s I think. We were sound checking and I just got my XB-2 not too long ago. I ran it through a real Leslie. I sound checked the intro to Jefftown and the crew loved it. They got Roger out of the RV to check it out. They didn"t like carrying the CV and half the time it seem like they were having to work on the poor old thing to get it to run back then. It ain"t had the easiest life. It"s an old chop but ... still heavier than hell of course.

Great mic on the Leslie....crazy distinct in the lead in, then it starts sounding "normal" in high speed.

The young Head East lives.....
