marczellm
Stuck in my head and I can't figure out what it is. I think it's a kind of current pop tune. Help me out! mate stubb
I don't understand. Is this not a commercial recording? Or is it something you did? Quote Moe ---
timwat
It sounds to me like the chorus (1:11 and similar) of "Endless" by Toto, from their 1984 album Isolation - the only album with Dennis "Fergie" Frederiksen (Triumph) as lead vocalist. I always dug Isolation, although it doesn't get much respect coming right after the blockbuster Toto IV. [video:youtube] Quote ..
MathOfInsects
I know it. I am working on bringing the title front of mind. Between my daughter and I, we will solve it. I hear the recordingâelectronic and pad-dy. I am bouncing between Billie Eilish and Chainsmokers right now, with an Imagine Dragons held back for emergency use, but when it clicks, it will click hard. Quote Now out! "Mind the Gap," a 24-song album of new material. www.joshweinstein.com

marczellm
I don't understand. Is this not a commercial recording? Or is it something you did? I mean, Shazam is only good for finding out artist and title by making it listen to the recording itself. AFAIK it does not recognize tunes based on a hummed melody etc. The one I uploaded was just me playing on piano the melody and chords I was hearing. It sounds to me like the chorus (1:11 and similar) of "Endless" by Toto Bingo! You got it man. I've been listening to a lot of TOTO lately. It's really funny how my head "remixed" the chorus and made me think it's a current pop tune. But it really would work in that context. Funny how MOI also thought it was some new stuff! The rest of the suggestions were also good but the chords are different.
