Old No7
I was just thinking last night it'd be fun to try and cover "Roundabout" by Yes on the piano... Then I found this today -- looks like I've got some left hand bass homework to do! GRollins
I used to be able to play a substantial portion of the Yes catalog (on bass), but I've just realized that I only remember bits and pieces. It's been a loooong time since I've played anyone else's stuff and it's kinda evaporated. Crap. No, I'm not going to start from scratch and learn it all over again on keys. Moonglow
That was awesome. I love to listen to projects like this. I wonder how many hours this gentleman put into that? He could probably sell a few transcripts. Nice sounding piano too. Someone should send this to Rick, I bet he would dig it. AnotherScott
Yes, really well done arrangement, nicely played, impressive. Glad I saw it. Quote Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)

MathOfInsects
His left hand.... Those polyrhythms at 4:40 and 6:50. His relaxed accuracy. Crazy. This made my day, for which admittedly the bar might be pretty low right now. Wow man. Quote Now out! Al Quinn
Very cool! Such an ambitious undertaking. I was on the edge of my seat wondering how he was going to handle the organ solo. Interesting solution to a difficult challenge. Kudos to Chris Squire for that incredible bass line â so creative, so unique. RIP Chris. David Emm
I followed the trail back and took in his beautifully expressed version of "Eruption" from Tarkus. IMO, the gods add a courtesy inch to your manhood the first time you can play that without hitting a clam.
