KuruPrionz
I like this, a spendid and thoughtful generosity. Ukulleles are more guitars than anything else so this is the best forum to post it. https://www.rte.ie/entertainment/2020/0428/1135427-bressie-sends-over-200-ukuleles-to-people-cocooning/ Cheers, Kuru Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is. KuruPrionz
Very cool. I've been playing ukulele a lot the last few weeks, more than guitar. I need to get another one!!!! I want a nice quality tenor with a built in pickup. A locallly owned music store south of here had an 8 string tenor with octave strings, a pickup and a cutaway. I had to run away before it got my credit card!!!!! Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is.

KuruPrionz
There is just something about ukuleles. They just seem to attract positive vibes. In general, short scale nylon stringed fretted instruments just radiate a "cheerful" demeanor. My most cheerful sounding instrument currently is a requinto I found at Goodwill for $14. It is a small variant of a classical guitar, widely used in Mexican music. Mine is tuned to G, many are tuned a whole step higher to A. I strum it and just smile. Biggles
I have a couple of Ukes, a Kala acoustic and a solid bodied Risa which is a Strat look alike. They are fun to play and the Risa is way lighter than my Gibson Les Paul Quote Col
