Are you doing anything about it? Are you applying for unemployment? Might you be eligible for an SBA loan or grant (even sole proprietorships and independent contractors are eligible — read the article)?
I'd like to know that those who have lost income aren't suffering and putting these resources to good use. I applied for unemployment due to losing work I had been doing as an IC that won't resume until this is over. How about you?
Another thought I have about this is that even if some don't
need the money, the reduction in individual income will result in a reduction in spending, and getting some money will help us boost the economy.
