dazzjazz
How about a 5-octave 8 voice analog poly like the P6. He could call it the 'a-poly-g' for the specs of the P6. Yes I"m being facetious. Don"t pile on me. Quote www.dazzjazz.com PhD in Jazz Organ Improvisation. BMus (Hons) Jazz Piano. my YouTube is Jazz Organ Bites 1961 A100.Leslie 45 & 122. MAG P-2 Organ. Kawai K300J. Yamaha CP4. Jonathan Hughes
Just curious: what about the specs off the P6 do you think he needs to apologize for?

MikeT156
"Well what ever it is, i know i won"t be able too afford it!" We get a lot of bang for the buck in today's synth world. Do the math on what analog synth's cost 40 years ago. I had to take out bank loans to buy my equipment, and all of the money I made from doing gigs went to make payments. Back then there was a lot of live music venues, so I was able to pay the bills. I wouldn't try that today, less gigs, and gigs don't pay much or only offer "exposure" for your services. A set up for FREE music. There are people that are willing to do that, I'll pass. Stokely
I *was* able to afford it...and was considering a Prophet rev 2. All before this ****ing virus hit. Now my boss is trying to fire me and jobs are hard to find, and I don't have any gigs anyway. Who knows if I can find something else I might be interested in whatever this is. ksoper
...All of the money I made from doing gigs went to make payments rent and food. Fixed that to reflect my own experience in the 80s. RABid
Not a good time for a new release. Especially an expensive release. I'm sure that I am not the only one who looks at my equipment and things "I'm good for now." Quote This post edited for speling. dazzjazz
Btw, I"ve been to Dave Smith"s offices in San Francisco. Super nice people and given it"s a large operation, I"m not surprised his instruments are the prices they are - quality costs money. We just don"t make enough! One day I hope to support his company with a significant purchase. Quote www.dazzjazz.com PhD in Jazz Organ Improvisation.
