They've already done guitar-triggered drums, right? But maybe not yet latin percussion like congas etc.?

I have a Mutron Octave Divider, (early 70s,) a DOD Octoplus, (maybe 80s,) & I thought I had a Boss octaver, but a quick look around didn't turn that up. I might have sold it, or it might have been a loaner that I gave back. Then there are the pitch shifters in all the Boss & Yamaha digital rack gear I have, all of which have enormous latency & very glitchy tracking.

I'd like to try one, there are times with the duo that a bass would be nice but lugging and switching are cumbersome.

Since I’m a dabbler AND more interested in rhythm than lead, this could be perfect for me.
