Semi-OT: Steve Martin and Steep Canyon Rangers

Recommended Posts

New song this week as performed on Colbert. Steve's voice is never going to bring the house down but geez I like the songs he does, with obviously a great band. It's onlky semi-OT because there's a nice Rhodes being played in the background ;)

Steve Martin's a world class comedian, actor, writer & musician. I believe he started out as a banjo player and took a side road as a stand up comedian, what an amazing career!

He played banjo when he was young, but his professional career was as a comedian. Back in the 1960s, he was a writer for the Smothers Brothers TV show.
