Chris Link
I noticed the power plug in for the P105 had become loose. (Another reason to wish it didn"t have a wall wart.) I was able to get it to plug in and power up, but I pictured it slipping in and rendering it unreachable at a gig. There are forty-eight (count 'em, forty-eight) screws on the bottom of the keyboard that needed to be removed. Along the front lower edge they are placed about every four inches. Thankfully, they are all the same so I didn"t have to keep track of what went where. I did think to make sure my fix worked before replacing all 48 of them. ElmerJFudd
A pain, I'm sure... but they used 48 screws rather than 4 for a reason, right? Can we ask what your "fix" was? You do some soldering? Thought you might enjoy this vid... [video:youtube] Quote Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-

I managed to get it to work but feared it would slip too far in and then I"d be screwed. It looks like there is a plastic bracket that holds it in place. The two ends were still screwed in place but the middle part was gone. I wedged some styrofoam blocks to sort of hold it in place while I see if I can find a replacement part. I suppose too many is better than too few screws, but it did seem like overkill.
