A few thoughts:

1) My first impression on looking at the thing was that it was a sequencer.

2) This guy is clearly a genius in a mad scientistical sort of way.

3) It's probably a good thing that his channel didn't exist when I was younger and more impressionable. I might have tried to do something foolish.

I'm not interested in someone's ability to program. I'm interested in their ability to compose and play.

He is loads of fun. I always get a kick out of his experiments. The thing is.... he gets good sounds out of this one. There are genres of music that would LOVE to have those sounds. That one is a bit of a "crazy project", but crazy like a fox - it produces useable sounds with a way better interface that that synth chip has ever had in its life. Something here points out how much FM could be improved just by having a better interface....
