Radagast
Maybe something Kronos 3-ish? Just kidding.
Moonglow
If the audio at that link is of any predictive value, perhaps something less rompler and more synthy? allan_evett
If the audio at that link is of any predictive value, perhaps something less rompler and more synthy? That's what I was thinking as well. Perhaps a Prologue with expanded sample memory and a sequencer/groove generator? Quote 'Someday, we'll look back on these days and laugh; likely a maniacal laugh from our padded cells, but a laugh nonetheless' - Mr. Boffo. We need a barfing cat emoticon! David Emm
Probably not a "new Kronos," but if they aren't going full-bore to compete with Roland's new Fantom, it'll be their version of a Yamaha MODX. They'll get you to the doorstep of a sequencer and then hand it off to an iPad/PC/Mac. It'd be no surprise if it essentially had a Minilogue XD section. LarsHarner
I was hoping there would be a follow up to the Krome/Kronos- I've had the Krome for 7 + years and realize they did the EX though.

humannoyed
If the audio at that link is of any predictive value, perhaps something less rompler and more synthy? That's what I was thinking as well. Perhaps a Prologue with expanded sample memory and a sequencer/groove generator? A Prologue with a built-in rompler would be sweet and possibly not too hard to engineer since both elements already exist in other hardware. Advice? Don't lose the knobs! Dave Keys
The Keys are exposed at the sides, making them vulnerable to breakage, so it's unlikely to be a 'flagship synth' like the Kronos - would be too risky to gig with. The whole promo screams 37/49 note synth. Quote Yamaha YC73 Korg Kronos2 61 Yamaha CP88 Roland Jupiter 8 Roland JX3P Roland D50
