telecaster
Which stand are you using? I have been looking at the K&M11810, any better ideas? Craig MacDonald
I've been using this stand for about a year and a half and I LOVE it!!! Highly recommended. It does take a bit of space in the car though and you have 2 different options for breaking it down, either take the legs and turn them sideways (and this makes it rather long), or take them out completely.. the top flat bars the keyboard sits on just unscrew. Very sturdy, well built! Tobias Åslund
Of all the stands I have, this one is my favourite: http://www.thomann.de/gb/km_18950.htm Adjustable in many ways - optional music stand, mic boom and 2nd tier - and you can have them all mounted at the same time if you add a pair of 18954 adapters. It's collapsible and makes a reasonably small package. If you're considering the options above I'd suggest getting a gig bag for it. It's also has adjustable width, which can come in handy sometimes. The only downside I see is that you need an allen wrench to adjust the height / length of the legs. tompass
I use a no longer available Ultimate Support VT 44 table. Over 25 years of use and going strong. Very very light.

telecaster
Thanks a lot, seems like I will buy the 18950 since it seems easier to collapse and transport. Pics will follow :-) Quote C3 & 122, XK3C & 3300, SK2 & Ventilator/3300
TKN
I use the Proel EL260 for my SK2. Proel EL260 It's perfect, and has good room for pedals. Besides, it comes with arms for mounting a top keyboard.

Sturdy, easy to transport, plenty of room for pedals. That's what I use with my XK system. It could stand to be just a little steadier for my taste, a little more angle to the legs and the back U leg would help - widen the stance a little. Quote A ROMpler is just a polyphonic turntable. Bobadohshe
Sorry for the zombie thread but I'm wondering if anybody has any new thoughts on a stand for the SK2? I'm finally getting pedals for mine and will need a stand that accommodates that. It has to be something that folds up nicely. RedKey
Then it's still the k&m 18950
Morrissey
I use an On Stage WS8540 "T stand." I like the sturdiness and how it folds up compactly for transport. It is a little heavier than I'd like. I worried the width might be too short -- the legs don't extend to the ends of the SK2. But it works for me. There is a slightly large model, too. Price is pretty good, relative to some other options mentioned in the thread.
Piktor
If you are unable to satisfy the "folds up nicely" part, do know that the K&M11810 does fit a set of Hammond pedals, though you have to finesse it a bit.
