A reason why I collect old keyboards is that I feel partly responsible for doing it, responsible for preserving history and being a custodian for these things
Plus, old gear has a story. I like that.

Wow! It's... the best thing I've seen lately! Explanations with visual demonstration is the best way to deliver information to anyone, especially so high quality like this.
Thanx!

I watched the linked video on ribbons mics and the one on dynamic mics also.
I had a pretty good idea how they all worked (especially dynamic mics) but these videos bring an extra clarity that is welcome.

Currently working on improving my room. For now dynamic mics work better, I had a couple of nice condensers but sold them as they tend to pick up everything and I live near a freeway and one floor and wall away from neighbors.

If/when I get this place spiffed up I'll be looking at the DIY goodies from Mic Parts, I've quite a bit of positive experience with techy stuffs and the tools and work bench are at hand.

Thanks for sharing!
