mate stubb
My new Vent II came today, and it's a bit noisy with the Mojo. I'm looking for a noise gate pedal that's stereo, tiny (almost no space left inside the rack), which sounds good and works with line levels. Any recommendations? The Real MC
Guitarists seem to be happy with the Rocktron noise gate.
CEB
Rocktron tech is old but it would work. ISP Decimator is better. It"s Buck Waller"s latest tech. (Founder of Rocktron). Everyone right now is raving about the Zuul. But these are built for ultra high gain modern metal dudes. I guess it depends on if you want a simple in line pedal or a pedal that triggers a gated loop. I like ISP a lot. I"ve never used the Zuul. My stuff isn"t that noisy. RedKey
...it's a bit noisy with the Mojo. Any recommendations? This surprises me and sounds more like a gain structure issue. There is a small amount of noise in the vent which is very realistic and spins with the speed of the pedal setting. It's a whisper, and never made me think of a gate. Vent II is in the (Lo) switch position on the back? Mojo 61? What's the output setting on the back? L-M-H? Mine might be at M, but I'd have to check. I don't think the MOJO dual manual had a gain switch.

My Mojo 61 seems to have some hiss which is only evident when turning the internal sim off. I don't know if that's normal. I've been gigging it hard for several years. Delaware Dave
My Gemini has become very hissy; didn't start off that way but has gotten worse over the years. it's noticeable. Been thinking about a noise gate myself.
