So...For both of you that are left on this forum:

This one has bass in it. I saw a thing on Hulu that had a segment on Phil Specter and like that "wall of sound" stuff, and I've been wanting to cover a Prince tune that nobody else does. So, this is a two-for-one.

Very good sound, production wise. Nice sounding band as well. Gives a sort of Helmet vibe, in the best possible way.

"Call me what instrument you will, though you can fret me, yet you cannot play upon me.'-Hamlet

Guitar solos last 30 seconds, the bass line lasts for the whole song.

So here's my spouse singing harmonies on the chorus. Fun, fun, fun. She's been bit by the music bug real bad.

I love it when a plan comes together.

OK, so. I was diggin' on Darly Dragon's left hand on this tune. Just smokin', baby. He stole some stuff from Stevie Wonder, no doubt. Here's my version. Guitar and vocals, no overdubs, recorded straight to stereo two track. Sometimes I record something and it seems good and then I listen back the next day and....not so. But this take stands up. Sedaka is back!

Backing tracks I recorded for the jazz standard "Just Friends".

It needs a melody and solo, but needs a different voice, as more bass or guitar would be just more bass or guitar.

Anybody know a sax player that could fix that situatioj?
