What's The Frequency, Kenneth?

 

I am he, and I know what the frequency is. I always have. And seeing how early R.E.M. was the only band that muttered, as we walked to this pilgrimage of abandonment, not one to sit still, laughing, I talked about the passion of needing to create a photograph of this Coaldale NV structure west of the fields as soon as I laid eyes on it that evening. I lit the building from several different angles, ProtoMachines light painting device in hand during the long exposure night photo, shaking through the whole structure. This was photographed during a 10-day 2559-mile night photography road trip with Mike Cooper and Tim Little.

I like the super wide view. I had a fish eye lens for my Nikon F2 back in the 80's but can't find it now.

I wrecked my other fisheye lens, so this is my new one that I purchased especially for this trip.

 

The last one....I was at an abandoned mineral spa. I stepped on a board, which lifted another board, which lifted another board, which tipped my tripod over, leaving an enormous scratch in the middle of the front element.
