We've had adults of all sorts fall to their deaths at the Grand Canyon and other places all around the world this year and other places, and now this. Somehow, this woman survived an 80-foot fall.
"A 2018 study of news reports showed that between October 2011 and November 2017, there were 259 selfie deaths in 137 incidents reported globally, with the highest occurrences in India followed by Russia, United States, and Pakistan. The mean age was 22.94 years old, with male deaths outnumbering female about three to one." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_selfie-related_injuries_and_deaths
The selfie injuries and deaths obviously skew toward young people, but there were unfortunately a number of others around the Grand Canyon that were older, so really, everyone needs to take an extra dose of caution here.
