Yeah, I know...conventional wisdom says that web sites with light backgrounds are better than web sites with dark backgrounds...but I really like the way the forum looks in Dark Mode, so I've made UBBT77 Dark the forum's default to try it for a little while and see what people think.

IMPORTANT NOTE: No one who dislikes this Dark Style has to use it! There's a menu at the very bottom of every page (under the HOP TO menu) whereyou can choose from several other Styles, including the one that we had before all the upgrades!

I like choices, so this is good. I think dark modes save battery life with mobile devices?

That said, I've been developing my new craiganderton.org site, and thought I should be trendy and do it with a black background. What I found is that may work for sites that are mostly pictures, and does look cool, for text-oriented sites (mine is mostly about articles) the light one looks better.

Went back to a lighter one - was getting a bunch of negative feedback about it making the forums difficult to read.

I'm gonna go try to find some better ones.

I didn't realize how tough on my eyes Dark Mode was until it went away. This is actually better for me. Maybe a light grey or something?
