Gus Lozada
I've just read -and confirmed- that our old friend, fellow forum member George Hamilton (YAMAHA, KURZWEIL) passed away on July 31st, after battling a long time with a disease. I met him several times at NAMM until he found "a real job" in another totally different industry a few years ago and lost track of him. I liked him. May he rest in peace. Geoff Grace
I have fond memories of hanging out with George at our forum gatherings and at NAMM. We even kept in touch for awhile via email. George was kind, smart, and talented. I'm glad he got to live a reasonably long life, but I wish he could have stuck around for a few more decades. Thanks for being you, George. Mike Martin
This has been a really tough one. George and I worked together at Kurzweil and after I moved over to Yamaha I was lucky enough to be able to bring him on board to work with me. We had some great times together. RIP George. Stephen Fortner
George was a great friend and an incredible resource to me during my early freelance years. I knew him through both his Kurzweil and Yamaha tenures. Very, very sad to hear this news.
