The new song of our band has been picked up by the radio. It's the "topsong" of the week on one of the biggest radio stations in the Netherlands. It's even been broadcasted in Norway.

Here we play it live on air:

Sweet track, dude! And great performance -- do you all play with a track, or are all the sample triggers and vocal processing/harmonizing happening live?

We play to backing tracks. Me, the bassist and the drummer can also trigger samples. The singer has a voice-over, so she can create harmonies with that. In this particular track however there a quite some tracks going on, because there are a lot of layers. So the Bell sounds, those cheap drum fills and percussion, harmonies in the chorus and some FX’s are all coming from the tracks.

I have to admit in the beginning I had some problems with all those tracks, and I still sometimes do. But apparently this is the sound people want to hear. Triggering everything live is (almost) impossible.
