BMD
.......armed with a laptop (on which I'd recorded drums* and bass* for 11 of my tunes) and an acoustic guitar (borrowed). I played guitar and sang along to the bass and drums backing tracks (which went through the PA), and you know what? It sounded pretty good! But synthesised drums and bass is never going to sound as good as actual human musicians. So I've placed an ad on a UK-based 'musicians wanted' site for a rhythm section. I added a link to the 11 songs that I rehearsed today. And here it is: https://soundcloud.com/randomtunesmith I don't know why I'm telling you this. You're probably thinking 'so what?' But it's a big deal for me. I don't get out much, nor am I particularly gregarious. So it's quite an achievement *Not real drums and bass. Anderton
NEW MARK MUSIC!! I know you don't realize how good you are, but as always, I totally enjoyed listening to the songs. Your voice sounds really good. Any chance you could email the Studio One project to me for "Pull Yourself Together?" I think it's time for another cover. Keep us in the loop of your progress... BMD
I'll start again Actually, they're quite old songs. I no longer have the individual tracks or the master. I just tried copying and pasting the lyrics and chords, but something went horribly wrong. So I'll do them seperately. I'm sure you can suss this out PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER And in the beginning was a knowing smile, and that was all you ever knew And there was deception happening all the while, and it was all because of you The withering glances and the hurtful words, they hit their target in the end And when it was over and the sympathy, words of wisdom from your friends And they"re telling you it"s gonna be alright in the end, yeh, yeh, yeh It"s gonna be alright in the end, now, now, now It"s gonna be okay in the end, yeh, yeh, yeh It"s gonna be alright in the end. They"re telling you It"s over, hold on now, you"ve got to pull yourself together It"s over, come on now, you"ve got to pull yourself together And with all the hurt you suffer the loneliness and all the time you have to think Incredible how you live with the bitterness, another day another drink The pitiful glances and the heartfelt words, they hit their target in the end And every day unwelcome empathy, given feeling by your friends Intro chord: D Verse chords: Emaj7, C, G, Dmaj7 Pre-chorus chords: Asus4sus9, A Chorus chords: D, G, Em, A Bridge chords: D, G, A Hope that helps. I don't have your email address Quote Some random songs that I wrote: https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandID=1481590 And an album: https://soundcloud.com/user-729188432
