One of my friends has an iPhone 6 and was looking for a way to change picture image quality. There was a place in SETTINGS to modify video quality but not photo quality.

Android phones have this feature:

Why not iPhones? Do more recent models have this ability? idk

What about the "picture quality" were they looking to change? iPhones shoot at the highest MP resolution by default. Perhaps some third party apps can shoot at lower resolutions.

They wanted to post a smaller file online. Not sure of the details.

Amazing that the iPhone doesn't have options. facepalm

I believe there is some sort of manner for adjusting resolution when emailing, but do not remember the details or how to access that.

Yes when you text or email it gives you the options of original size or various other options at smaller resolution/file size.
